Sports Minister Srabananda Sonowal has said that the cash prizes and pensions given to the sports persons will be revised soon .He was speaking at a function commemorating 109th birthday of hockey wizard Major Dhyan Chand in Delhi today.The day is celebrated as National Sports Day.The minister also said that there is no doubt that the young players today are very talented but the determination lacks. Remembering the glorious deeds of the hockey legend Major Dhayan Chand, they should imbibe the qualities of discipline and hardwork and should strive for excellence in sports for our country.President Pranab Mukherjee will today present sports awards including Dronacharya, Dhyan Chand and Arjuna Awards-2014 for excellence in sports.
