A Delhi court has rejected Rajya Sabha MP Amar Singh's regular as well as interim bail pleas in the 2008 cash-for-vote scam.

Special Judge Sangita Dhingra Sehgal relied on the medical reports to reject both bail applications of Amar Singh who is undergoing treatment for his kidney ailments at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, AIIMS.

Mr. Amar Singh was arrested on the 6th of this month. He, however, had to be rushed to the AIIMS from Tihar jail due to ill health on the 12th and later he was granted interim bail on the 15th of this month.
