Delhi Police has arrested Sanjeev Saxena, considered close to former Samajwadi leader Amar Singh. AIR correspondent quoting official sources reports, he has been arrested today in connection with cash-for-vote scam . The police action came two days after the Suppreme court came down heavily on Delhi Police for its “callous approach” in probing the scam and asking why it has not taken action so far against those involved in the case. The Apex Court also asked Delhi police to file a progress report on the probe in the cash-for-votes scam of 2008 within a week .
