Cash-for-post railway case: Ex-Rail Min Pawan Bansal's nephew and 9 others charged

A special court in Delhi has framed charges of criminal conspiracy and corruption against former Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal's nephew Vijay Singla and nine others, accused in the cash-for-post railway bribery case.

Paving the way for the trial, Special CBI Judge Swarana Kanta Sharma framed the charges against the accused under section 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC, read with provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

The accused said that they do not plead guilty and claimed trial in the case.

The court posted the matter for August 25th for commencement of recording of evidence in the case.
