The CBI today filed a charge sheet against Justice Nirmal Yadav and four others in the 2008 cash-at-judge's-door scam. Justice Yadav is to demit office as a judge of the Uttarakhand High Court today. The charge sheet against Justice Yadav under various sections, relating to conspiracy and Prevention of Corruption Act, was filed in the Special CBI court in Chandigarh. The move comes after President Pratibha Patil gave clearance for her prosecution. The Special CBI court posted the matter for 6th of next month. The others named in the charge sheet are of local advocate Sanjiv Bansal, Delhi businessman Ravinder Singh, Nirmal Singh and Rajiv.
