CBI today filed a charge sheet against Justice Nirmal Yadav and four others in a special CBI court in Chandigarh in connection with the 2008 cash-at-judge's-door scam. Justice Yadav is to demit office as a judge of the Uttarakhand High Court today. Charge sheet has been filed in the court of Special CBI Judge Ritu Tagore under various sections relating to conspiracy and sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act. The charge sheet has been filed in a case of throwing 15 lakh rupees cash at Judge’s house in 2008.The Special CBI court posted the hearing for the sixth of next month. At the time of the incident Nirmal Yadav was the judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
