<span style="color: #222222;">In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the caseloads in the tertiary health care institutions in Srinagar have increased due to the alarming spike of cases being reported these days. In order to reduce the caseloads in these health care institutions, Director health services Kashmir has been asked that only the properly referred patients from districts shall be allowed to be admitted in the Srinagar tertiary healthcare institutions.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports, the administrarion has directed that the patients from the districts in Kashmir will be admitted in category-I health care institutions at Srinagar only on proper referral by the District Health authorities. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Director Health Kashmir has been asked through a communiqué that the patients from districts in Kashmir will be accepted and admitted in Category-One Health Care institutions at Srinagar which are SKIMS Soura, SMHS Hospital, Chest Diseases Hospital Srinagar and SKIMS Medical College & Hospital Bemina, only when they are properly referred by the District Health authorities.This shall be ensured to reduce the case load in the tertiary care institutions, so that only the patients requiring critical care are admitted in the category-One healthcare institutions in Srinagar. The communique further asked the district health authorities to adhere to the instructions strictly as the patients from other districts are reporting directly to Category-One Tertiary Care institutions at Srinagar.</span><br />''
