Car rally in Gujarat flagged off

In Gujarat, the unique desert car-rally flagged off on Saturday in the great run of Kutch. Air Correspondent reports from the desert of Kutch that more than 40 car racers are participating in this second annual desert car rally. The distance 270 Kilometers in the mid desert is to be covered by the participants. The Tourism Department has initiated this desert car rally to boost the desert tourism in the Kutch district. AIR Correspondent adds that the Kutch which is the second largest district in the country, has the huge and wide desert which is the unique in the world.<br/>Meanwhile, the firing between BSF Patrol Party and the intruders from the Pakistan were reported at HARAMINALA area of Kutch border on Friday mid-night. The Inspector General of BSF, Gujarat Arun Kumar Sinha told AIR Correspondent that no casualty has been reported from BSF side but there may be some casualties from Pakistani side. He said that, the intruders came from Pakistan in two boats and opened fire at the BSF patrol party. The firing continued for three hours. The Senior BSF Officer from Bhuj rushed to the Haraminala area to take the stock of the situation. AIR Correspondent said that amidst the repeated high alert warning of terror attack from across the border, BSF in kutch border has intensify the patrolling.<br/>
