In Iraq, eight civilians were killed and 20 others wounded in a car bomb attack in south western Baghdad. Voice of Iraq news agency quoting security sources reports that an explosive vehicle went off near a store selling liquor in al-Shurta area on Thursday evening killing eight and wounding 20 others. The blast also caused severe damages to the nearby stores.
