In Iraq, a series of car bombings has hit the centre of Baghdad, killing at least four people and wounding about 14 others. Police say the blasts occurred outside the heavily fortified Green Zone.There has been a recent upsurge of violence in the city. A week ago, at least 127 people were killed in multiple car bombings. Officials have accused al-Qaeda of trying to destabilise the country ahead of elections due in March.According to officials, one of Tuesday's bombs exploded near the Iranian embassy and another near the foreign ministry. It is not clear where the third bomb was detonated.
