In Iraq, five civilian were killed and 15 others wounded in car bomb attack in central Baghdad today. Voice of Iraq news agency quoting an interior ministry source has reported that incident occurred when a car with bomb parked at al-Maydan square, central Baghdad, went off, near the old building of the defence ministry followed by a suicide attack with a car bomb. The number of casualties is likely to increase. According to official spokesman for the Baghdad Operations Command Maj. General Qassem Atta however said that two soldiers were killed and eight civilians wounded in a car bomb blast that targeted the old building of the defence ministry.
