The Commission for Air Quality Management has revoked the Stage – 4 of the Graded Response Action Plan in entire National Capital Region with immediate effect. The decision was taken by the Committee, during a review meeting on Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) on Sunday. The committee observed significant improvement in the overall air quality of the Delhi-NCR. The average Air Quality Index of Delhi has been recorded as 339 in Very Poor Category today. However, actions under Stage -1, 2 and Stage -3 of the GRAP will remain invoked and be implemented, monitored and reviewed by all agencies concerned to ensure that the Air Quality Index levels do not slip further to the Severe category. With the removal of GRAP – 4, plying of non-BS -6 diesel-run light motor vehicles and entry of trucks into the national capital will be permitted.<br />'' <br />'' The GRAP Sub-Committee in its last meeting held on 3rd of this month had invoked Stage – 4 of GRAP in the entire National Capital Region. The GRAP is an emergency response action plan invoked with a view to arrest further deterioration of adverse air quality scenario in NCR.<br />'' &nbsp;
