In Nepal, the filing of nominations for the post of the Prime Minister is being held on Friday. Voting will be held on Sunday. The UCPN (Maoist) has said that Party Vice president Baburam Bhattarai will be their candidate while the Nepali Congress has fielded Party Parliamentary leader Ram Chandra Poudel. Speaker Subas Nembang in a ruling directed all the lawmakers not to abstain from voting or remain absent in the House on Sunday. Mr. Nembang has urged the parties that the new Prime minister should take oath of office by Sunday evening itself. The Parliament proposes to table the bill proposing a three month extension of the Constituent Assembly. The term of the Constituent Assembly ends on the 31st of this month .
