India's Viswanathan Anand has regained the sole lead in the Candidates Chess Championships at Khanty Mansiysk in Russia, with a superb victory over Veselin Topalov from Bulgaria in the ninth round. Yesterday's victory has proved crucial for five-time World Champion Anand as he took his tally to six points out of a possible nine.With five rounds still to come, Anand enjoys a full point lead over top seed Levon Aronian of Armenia.
