Cancer cases up by 20 per cent across globe: WCRF

A British charity has released figures suggesting the number of cases of cancer worldwide has risen by 20 per cent over the past ten years. The study by the World Cancer Research Fund, WCRF, says 12 million new cases of cancer are diagnosed every year that is more than four times the number of new HIV infections.According to the WCRF, it estimates 2.8 million cancer cases globally are easily preventable as they are linked to poor diet and a lack of exercise.
