Electing to bat, the Australian Openers David Warner and Aaron Finch scored 187 runs for the first wicket. Finch cracked 107 and Warner was out for 93. Skipper Steven Smith made 51. Ishant Sharma struck late to take 4 wicket for 77 runs. India have replaced left-arm paceman Barinder Sran with experienced Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Australia are leading the five-match series 3-0.
