The Canadian Prime Minister Mr. Stephen Harper along with an 11-member delegation paid obeisance at Sri Harimandir Sahib in Amritsar today. Accompanied by the Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal who received him at the Raja Sansi International Airport, Mr. Harper was accorded a warm welcome by the Sikh religious leaders. Tight security arrangements were made for his visit. Later, he was presented with a ‘siropau’ by the SGPC Chief, Avtar Singh Makkar.
