The Canadian Navy has detained a merchant ship with 76 migrants on board in what is believed to be the country's first maritime human trafficking case in a decade. It is thought the migrants were Sri Lankans who were going to be smuggled into Canada via Pacific Coast. The passengers and the crew are now being interrogated by immigration officials. <br/> <br/>
