Election Campaign for 199 out of 200 seats of Rajasthan Assembly will conclude today. At Churu polling was postponed due to death of the BSP candidate. A total of 2086 candidates including 166 women are in the fray.

According to Chief Election Officer Ashok Jain, campaign through SMS or social media will also not be allowed from 5pm.Our correspondent reports that senior leaders from both the national parties, Congress and BJP are addressing election meetings in the state. The 15 day long election campaign will end in a few hours.

After 5 pm candidates will start door to door contact with voters. Senior leaders of both Congress and BJP are addressing election meetings in different parts of the state. For Congress candidates Chief Ministers of Uttarakhand and Haryana Vijay Bahuguna and Bhupinder Singh Hooda and for BJP Chief Minister of Gujrat Narendra Modi and senior party leader Shahnawaz Hussain are addressing election meetings.

Candidates of newly formed National Peoples Party and Zamindara Party are also active in the election campaign.
