In Jammu and Kashmir, campaigning for the General Council elections of Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council in Leh district is gaining momentum. The State Tourism and Culture Minister, Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora launched the campaign of the Congress party by addressing a public meeting at the Polo Ground in Leh. AIR Correspondent reports that elections will be held for 24 constituencies on 16 of next month. In two constituencies, candidates have already been elected unopposed.
