Campaigning in full swing for 1st phase of Bihar Assembly elections

In Bihar campaigning is in full swing in those areas where the first phase of Bihar Assembly election will be held on October 12. During this phase polls will be held in 49 constituencies. Besides BJP President Amit Shah and Foreign Minster Sushma Swaraj several leaders including RJD President Lalu Prasad and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar addressed a series of election meeting.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports, ddressing election meeting at Katihar BJP President Amit Shah said Nitish Kumar became Chief Minister after seeking votes against jungle raj of Lalu Prasad but after he parted with BJP Nitish Kumar made an alliance with RJD. He appealed people not to vote grandalliance otherwise Jungle Raj two again come to haunt them. Seeking votes in favour of NDA at Rosera in Samastipur Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj said JD(U) led RJD- Congress alliance has been made under compulsion after election it will end .While campaigning in favour of party candidates at Khagaria Nitish Kumar reiterated only Bihari could develop the state not outsiders. Lalu Prasad said NDA government at centre promised to return black money from foreign banks but failed.
