<span style="color: #222222;">Campaigning has gained momentum in poll bound West Bengal as the first phase of polling approaches near. Senior leaders, star campaigners and candidates of various political parties are participating in rallies, road shows and door to door campaigning in different parts of the state.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah today attended a public meeting at Khatrah of Ranibandh assembly constituency in Bankura and addressed the meeting at Jhargram virtually. Mr Shah accused the ruling TMC of corruption and reiterated that BJP will come into power in Bengal.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also addressed two public rallies at Egra and Ramnagar in East Medinipur today.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On the other hand, TMC chief and the Chief Minister of the state Mamata Banerjee addressed rallies at Jhaldah and Balarampur in Purulia from a wheelchair. She accused BJP of doing divisive politics.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Abhishek Banerjee addressed two rallies at Danton and Chandrakona and participated in a road show in West Medinipur.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Candidates of CPIM and Congress were also seen campaigning in the districts for the first phase of assembly elections.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">30 seats across five districts will be going for polls in the first phase on 27th of this month.</span>

It was her first political programme since the Nandigram incident in which she had suffered injury. TMC MP, actor Dev participated in a road show at Ramnagar in East Medinipur.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Candidates of TMC, CPIM and other prominent political parties were also seen campaigning in various parts of Kolkata. </span>
