Campaigning gains momentum for phase II polls in Jharkhand

In Jharkhand, after the first phase of election, campaigning is gaining momentum in those areas where the second phase of elections will be held on the second of next month. In this phase polling will be held in 14 of the remaining 55 constituencies of the state. <br/><br/>During this phase, polling will be held in Tamar, Silli, Khigri, Mandar, Gomia, Gandeya, Giribih, Dumri, Barhi, Barkagao, Mandu, Ramgarh, Kodarma and Khunti. RJD President, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Congress leader Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu, JMM leader Shibu Sorein, BJP leader Yeshwant Sinha, JDU leader Nitish Kumar and Jharkhand Vikas Morcha leader Babu Lal Marandi addressed election meetings in different parts of the state. <br/><br/>Film star Shatrughan Sinha and actress Smriti Irani also campaigned for their parties. Our correspondent reports that leaders are paying more attention to woo voters in rural areas.<br/><br/>Senior congress leader Ambika Soni claimed that the congress party will form the next government in Jharkhand. Talking to mediapersons at Ranchi Ms. Soni said that the Congress will not take the help of corrupt politician to form the government.<br/><br/>She exhorted people to vote congress to form stable and corrupt free government in the state. Mentioning various welfare schemes implemented by UPA government at the centre Ambika Soni said that if the econgress forms government in Jharkhand the development of the state will be further stepped up.<br/>
