In Bihar leaders various political parties have put their maximum strength for campaigning for 5th phase and last phase of elections. JDU- BJP alliance leader and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD LJP alliance leader Lalu Prasad Yadav have hectic schedule for campaigning in these areas. In 5th phase of polling will be held at 35 seats spread over 8 districts of south and central region of the state. Nitish Kumar after casting his votes in Bakhtiarpur constituency in Patna has addressed several public meetings at Nawada and Gaya districts while his ally BJP leader Sushil Modi and state party president CP Thakur also attended several election rallies at Nawada, Gaya and Arwal districts. Leader of the main opposition RJD- LJP alliance Lalu Prasad, Rabri Devi and Ram Vilas Paswan also addressed election meetings at Nalanda and Sheikhpura districts. Several left leaders are also campaigning for their candidates in this region. The Congress has also put its several senior leaders including central Ministers for campaigning in the districts going for poll in remaining 5th and 6th phase of elections. National general secretary of Congress Rahul Gandhi is expected at Sheikhpura and Nawada districts for poll campaigning.
