Campaigning gains momentum for 6th & 7th phases of Lok Sabha polls

<span style="color: #222222;">Campaigning is gainig momentum for the sixth and seventh phases of Lok Sabha polls. Political leaders and star campaigners of different political parties are holding rallies and public meetings today for the remaining phases. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi held an election rally at Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Addressing the rally, Mr Modi said opposition parties do not want to acknowledge India's growing strength in international arena. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Prime Minister said, India is now being respected globally. He said, 850 Indian nationals were locked up in jails of Saudi Arabia, who were released after he requested the visiting Crown Prince. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Modi also charged that the Congress was interested only in the welfare of its own leaders and their close family members. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Modi also held a public meeting at Sagar in Madhya Pradesh.  He alleged that due to Congress's poor governance, the country was deprived of basic amenities like pucca houses, electricity, toilets and bank accounts during the first 25 years of Independence. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, had the Congress remained in power, these basic amenities would have eluded the country for another 100 years.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr. Modi also slammed the Congress government in the state saying their performance is synonymous with colossal failures. He said Congress secured votes in the state by promising farm loan waiver, but they did not fulfill that promise. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On Masood Azhar's listing by the UN as a global terrorist, Mr Modi said that many countries have come together to debunk Pakistan. He said his government is working to garner more and more international support on the issue of security  of the country. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Modi also held a rally in state capital, Gwalior later in the evening.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav addressed a rally in Uttar Pradesh's Pratapgarh. Talking to a news agency, he said, SP-BSP-RLD alliance will decide who will form government and become the Prime Minister.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">BSP Chief Mayawati asserted that no matter what, the alliance between SP-BSP will remain unbreakable. She was holding a press conference. </span><br />''
