Campaigning for third phase of Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand will end today. 16 seats in Jammu and Kashmir and 17 Assembly segments in Jharkhand will go to polls in this phase on Tuesday.

Saturday was the last day for the withdrawal of nominations for the fifth and last phase of polls in the two states. In Jharkhand, 208 candidates have been left in fray for this phase after seven candidates withdrew their nominations.

In Jammu and Kashmir, 213 candidates have been left in the fray for the fifth phase after 12 candidates withdrew their nominations on the last day of withdrawal. Polling for this phase will be held on the 20th of this month in both the states.
