Campaigning for election to new assemblies in Madhya Pradesh and Mizoram ends this evening.
The single phase polling in the two states will be held on Monday.
Madhya Pradesh has 230 seats with 35 reserved for Scheduled Castes and 47 for Scheduled Tribes.
In the 40 member assembly in Mizoram, 39 seats are reserved.
AIR correspondent reports that all the major political parties are making last ditch efforts to woo the voters.
In Mizoram, Congress is contesting all the 40 seats and Mizoram Democratic Alliance of three regional parties has also fielded its candidates in all the constituencies.
BJP is contesting 17 seats and NCP two.
Senior Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi, Dr. Manmohan Singh and Rahul Gandhi addressed public rallies in the state in favour of their party candidates.
In Rajasthan, campaigning is on in full swing. Congress President Sonia Gandhi will address two public meetings at Kota and Dungarpur today.
State BJP President Vasundhara Raje and National Peoples Party leader Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena are also active in campaigning for their party candidates.
The polls will be held on the 1st of next month.
AIR correspondent reports that vigilance has been stepped up by the Election Commission to conduct free and fair election.
Electioneering is gaining momentum in Delhi, as well.
810 candidates are in the fray for the 70-member Assembly.
Polling in the national capital will be held on the 4th of next month.
