Campaigning for fourth phase of Assembly elections at its peak in WB

In West Bengal, campaigning for the fourth phase of Assembly elections is at its peak. During this phase, polling will take place for 63 Assembly seats spread across Howrah, Hooghly, East Midnapore and parts of Burdwan district on 3rd of next month. Altogether, 366 candidates are in the fray in the four districts. The Burdwan South Assembly constituency in Burdwan district is one of the major attractions of this election. Meanwhile, peaceful repolling is on in two booths in Kolkata and North 24 Pargana district. The repoll is taking place in one booth in Baleghata constituency in Kolkata while another one at Ashok Nagar seat in North 24 Pargana district. The Election Commission ordered repolling in these polling booths following technical snag in Electronic Voting Machine where election was held in third phase on Wednesday.
