In Assam, campaigning for the first phase of Lok Sabha polls will come to an end this evening. Polling will take place on Monday from 7am to 5pm for Jorhat, Lakhimpur, Dibrugarh and Tezpur seats. Most of the candidates are engaged in door-to-door campaign today. Rallies are also being taken out to woo voters. Over 64 lakh voters are eligible to decide the fate of 51 candidates.

Asom Gana Parishad, BJP and Congress have fielded candidates in all the five seats. Aam Aadmi Party, AIUDF and Left parties are also in the fray. Star campaigners of the national and regional parties addressed rallies in support of their candidates.
