In Bihar, the campaigning for the sixth and final phase of Assembly elections will come to an end Thursday evening. Twenty six Assembly constituencies will go to the polls in this phase on Saturday. AIR Patna correspondent reports that 18 constituencies are naxal affected where polling will be held from 7 am to 3pm. In the remaining 8 constituencies, polling will be held upto 5 pm. The Election commission has instructed to deploy jawans of central para military forces on all booths. State borders along Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand have already been sealed. A massive combing operation is continuing in naxal infested areas. In Gaya district, Imamganj and Barachatti are most sensitive assembly constituencies. Strict vigil is being maintained in these two constituencies. 426 candidates are in the fray in the final phase polls. AIR correspondent reports, that leaders of different political parties are making last ditch efforts to woo voters. Stalwarts of different political parties, including Congress General secretary Rahul Gandhi, Senior Janata Dal (United) leader and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Senior BJP leader Sushil kumar Modi, RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, LJP President Ram Vilash Paswan are addressing a series of election meetings in different parts of the state. Road shows are also being organized to seek support of voters in favour of their party candidates.
