In Assam, campaigning for the bye-polls will come to an end this evening. Bye-polls to be held  at Mariani, Thowra, Bhawanipur, Gossaigaon and Tamulpur assembly seats on 30th of this month. A total of 31 candidates are in the fray. All the political parties and candidates are making last efforts to woo the nearly 8 lakh voters.  <br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Senior BJP leader and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal , state Congress President Bhupen Bora , AIUDF Chief Badruddin Ajmal, Chief of Raijor Dal Akhil Gogoi are holding rallies at various places where polling will be held. The BJP is contesting at 3 seats while its partner UPPL will fight in 2 seats. Congress, BPF, AIUDF and Independent candidates are also in the fray. </span><br />
