Campaigning for 5th phase of Assembly elections in WB to come to an end this afternoon

In West Bengal, the campaigning for the 5th phase of Assembly elections will come to an end this afternoon. 38 seats spread over part of Purulia, West Midnapur, Bankura and Burdwan districts will go to the polls in this phase on Saturday. Around 74 lakh voters will decide the political fate of 193 candidates. The Election Commission has appointed Debasish Chakraborty, Chief Election Officer of Maharashtra as special observer for the 5th and 6th phase of elections. AIR correspondent reports, the Sabang Assembly constituency in West Medinipore district is one of the major attractions this time.
