In Bihar, campaigning for the third phase ended on Tuesday evening with leaders of different political parties making last ditched effort to woo voters. 48 constituencies will go to polls in this phase on Thursday. A galaxy of stalwarts including BJP leader Rajnath Singh, Congress leaders Jitin Prasad, C.P,Joshi and Salman Khursid are addressing a series of meetings throughout the state. Besides this Janta Dal ( United) President Sharad Yadav, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, LJP Leader Ram Vilash paswan and NCP Leader are making whirlwind tours to attract voters in favour of their party candidates. Meanwhile, over 45 percent of voting has been recorded so far during the repolling at two booths one each in Vibhutipur and Dhaka assembly constituencies. Our correspondent reports that the campaigning for fourth phase of polling scheduled to be held on November 1st are alos in full swing. In this phase, 42 assembly constituencies will go to poll. These constituencies are spread over 8 districts of the state including Patna. With the date of polling coming nearer senior leaders of almost all the national and regional parties have started addressing public meetings in support of their respective candidates. One such district is Khagaria where 8 lakh 66 thousand 477 electorate will use their right of franchise on November 1st to decide the fate of 46 candidates including 10 females.The Lok Janshakti party state chief Pasupathi Nath Paras is contesting election from Alauli reserve constituency in this district.
