Intense campaigning by political leaders continued in Uttar Pradesh, mainly in the areas where election is going to be held in the first phase.The Delhi Chief Minister Shiela Dikshit on Sunday campaigned in Lucknow for the Congress candidates.BSP leader Satish Mishra also addressed a meeting in Sultanpur district. The election for the first phase will be held on the 8th of next month.AIR Correspondent reports, 55 constituencies in ten districts of Uttar Pradesh will decide the fate of dozens of candidates in about a week.Political leaders are busy in hectic campaigning but on several occasions alleging each other than giving focus on major issues including development and corruption.Though election commission is keeping a close watch on election activities but seizure of more than 30 crore rupees of unaccounted money is also a matter of concern for both, the election authorities and voters.However citizens from all sections welcomed the ongoing Voters awareness drive and many believed that this would be helpful to tackle crucial issue of black money and bad politics.
