In Jharkhand, campaigning for the first phase of elections will come to end on Monday evening. Polling in this phase will be held in 26 constituencies out of 81 of the state on Wednesday. Four hundred and seventy candidates are in the fray. Leaders of different political parties are leaving no stone unturned to woo voters in favour of their party and allies. AIR correspondent reports that during campaigning leaders of almost all parties are raising the issue of corruption free and stable government in the state. While addressing an election meeting at Sahebganj, Congress leader Ajay Makan said if his party is voted to power many schemes will be started for all round development of the State. During campaigning BJP leader Venkaiya Naidu and JD ( U ) President Sharad Yadav said if NDA comes in power a drive against corruption will be started and there will be speedy trial of all corrupt persons who are in custody. JMM Chief Sibu Soren exhorted people to cast their votes in favour of JMM candidates to form stable government in the State. Film stars today added glamour to poll campaign.
