In Jharkhand, campaigning has begun by all the political parties for the five phased assembly elections beginning from the 25th of this month.<br/><br/> The Congress struck an alliance with Jharkhand Vikas Morcha. On the other hand, the BJP and JD(U) agreed to continue their nine year old friendship in the state. But the ex-Chief Minister Shibu Soren's Jharkhand Mukti Morcha was forced to go all alone in this assembly poll. Whereas, Rashtriya Janata Dal and Lok Jan Shakti parties repeated their unbreakable alliance in Jharkhand also on the pattern of Bihar, along with other left parties. <br/><br/> 644 candidates have filed their nominations for 30 assembly seats for he first phase.
