In Bihar, campaigning for 6th and last phase of Assembly elections is at its peak. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, former Chief Minister RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav and state congress president Mehboob Ali Kaisar are among the prominent leaders who addressed several election rallies in Aurangabad and Rohtas districts.AIR correspondent reports all major political parties are organising election rallies in Aurangabad, Rohtas, Kaimur , Buxar and Gaya districts where polling will be held on 20th of this month.AIR correspondent Sunil Shukla reports that in Bihar considering large scale festivity of Chhat Puja series of election rallies are being organised in the districts going for poll in last phase of elections. Senior leaders of JDU, BJP, RJD, LJP, Congress and left parties have addressed several public meetings in several areas in support of their party candidates. Four day Chhat festival begun from today and it is believed during festival attendance in public meetings will go down as both men and women keep fast for 36 hours to worship Sun. Addressing an election rally today under Rafiganj segment in Aurangabad district chief Minister JDU leader Nitish Kumar said his government was instrumental for social change in the state. He said politics based on religion and casts has no place now in Bihar and people have realised progress and development should be on top priority. RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav also addressed election rallies at Rafiganj and Goh segments in the district. He said Nitish government has befooled the common men. He said not a single industry was set up in the state during NDA regime to address the unemployment.
