Campaigning at its peak for 1st phase of LS Polls

With less then a week left for the polling to begin for the nine phase Lok Sabha Elections from next Monday, campaigning has reached its peak with leaders of all political parties crisscrossing the country to woo the voters. Polling will be held for five seats in Assam and one in Tripura on the 7th April, for seven Lok Sabha seats in the second phase on 9th April, of which two each are in Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya and one each in Manipur, Mizoram and Nagaland and for 91 constituencies spread over 11 states and 3 Union Teritories, including all ten seats in Haryana, all 20 in Kerala and all seven Lok Sabha constituencies in Delhi on the 10th of April.
Polling will also take place for the 60 Member Arunachal Pradesh Assembly on the 9th April and for 70 Assembly seats in Odisha on 10th April. Campaigning for these constituencies is also at its peak.

BJP Leader Narendra Modi will address an election rally at Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh and four rallies in Madhya Pradesh at Rewa, Sidhi, Satna and Jabalpur Parliamentary constituencies today. Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will address two election rallies in Jharkhand at Godda and Gumla. BJP President Rajnath Singh is also in Jharkhand addressing public meetings. Aam Aadmi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal held a rally in New Delhi yesterday and the party is organising road shows in the National Capital. BSP Supremo Mayawati, Samajwadi leaders Akhilesh Yadav and Mulayam Singh Yadav, Rashtriya Janta Dal Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and TMC Leader Mamta Banerjee and other leaders of various political parties are also organising rallies in different parts of the country.
