In Bihar, campaigning has been intensified in those areas where the remaining two phases of election are to be held. Fifth phase of election will be held in 35 constituencies on next Tuesday. The sixth and final phase of election will be on 20th of this month in 26 constituencies. AIR Patna correspondent reports that Dissident JD(U) MP Lalan Singh and RJD MP Uma Shankar Singh are campaigning in favour of Congress candidates.The JD( U) National president Sharad Yadav said that action against dissident party from Munger Lalan Singh would be taken when necessary.On the other hand RJD Chief Lalu Yadav refused to comment on Umashankar Singh. Addressing election meeting at Ara Senior BJP Leader Sushma Swaraj said during the last five year in the state the NDA government has done a lot of positive things and it must be awarded for its performance. Congress leaders are not campaigning because they have gone to Delhi to attend CWC meeting. Senior JD (U) leader and Chief minister Nitish Kumar said that crime in the state has been controlled if NDA is voted to power the property of the corrupt people will be seized. On the other hand RJD chief Lalu Prasad yadav appealed voters to uproot the Nitish led NDA government in the state. Criticizing the ruling NDA LJP president Ram Vilash paswan said that Nitish Kumar is responsible for the backwardness of the state. left leaders are also campaigning in favour of their party candidates.Tomorrow is the last day of filing of nomination papers for the sixth phase of assembly election.324 candidates have so far filed their nomination papers for this phase. The Sixth phase of election is on November 20.AIR correspondent Sunil Shukla reports from Nawada (Bihar) that most of the major political parties have intensified their campaigning in the areas going for poll in 5th phase of elections. The Bharatiya Janata Party has put its several senior leaders in the state to campaign for the ruling JDU-BJP alliance candidates. Janata Dal Secular leaders including former Prime Minister HD Devegauda addressed public meeting at Jehenabad district for party candidates. He said politics base of cast and religion is not in the interest of country. Leader of the opposition in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj addressed election rallies at Bhojpur and Patna districts and targeted Congress and RJD. State Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and party president Sharad Yadav have also cress cross the districts going for poll on 9th of this month. In his election rallies Nitish Kumar is putting his agenda before people for his next government. Mr. Yadav today addressed three public meetings at Nawada districts. Campaigning for the main opposition RJD-LJP candidates is in the hands of former Chief Minister of the state Lalu Prasad Yadav and LJP leader Ram Vilas Paswan. Rabri Devi is also campaigning for alliance candidates. Many left parties leaders are also canvassing for left candidates as in many district these parties have strong base. Congress President and its youth icon Rahul Gandhi were campaigned in last phases of elections and Rahul Gandhi is expected at Sheikhpura, Nawada and Jehenabad districts.
