Activist Irom Sharmila Chanu, who ended her 16-year fast on August 9, said she will continue her struggle for repeal of Armed Forces Special Powers Act. Ms Sharmila, who is still lodged in the Jawaharlal Nehru of Institute of Medical Sciences in Imphal, said she has decided to change the course of action of her fight.<br/><br/>She said, she initially thought of entering politics to continue her fight. Matters related to marriage or returning to home were not in her mind, she added. Sharmila clarified that she had not stopped her stir. She said, she will not be going to her house as she has not yet achieved her mission, repeal of the AFSPA.
