<span style="color: #000000;">The campaign for Hangal and Sindgi Assembly By-Elections in Karnataka has intensified with many top state leaders from BJP, Congress and JD(S) camping in the constituencies. BJP has fielded Shivraj Sajjan as the nominee for Hangal Assembly Constituency and Ramesh Bhusanur for Sindgi. The Congress party has fielded Ashok Managuli from Sindagi and Srinivas Mane from Hangal constituency. The JD(S) is also contesting from both the seats by fielding Naziya Shakeel Ahmed Angadi from Sindgi and Niyaz Shaikh from Hangal. The By-Elections were necessitated due to the demise of legislators M. C. Managuli of JD(S) in Sindgi and C. M. Udasi of BJP from Hangal. The polling will be held on 30th of October and counting of votes will be taken up on 2nd of November.</span><br />
