In West Bengal, campaigning for sixth and final phase of Assembly Polls comes to a close this evening. Path Yatras, Cycle rallies and Road shows mark the last minute campaign. The election will take place for 14 seats in Jungle Mahal covering remaining parts of Purulia, Bunkura and West Midnapore districts on Tuesday. Over 26, 55000 electorates will decide the political fate of 97 candidates. AIR Kolkata correspondent reports that this is the most crucial phase of polls which will take place in Maoists-infested areas. Voting will start from 7.00 in the morning and will continue till 3.00 p.m. instead of 5.00 p.m. for security reasons. Unprecedented security arrangements are also in place to ensure free and fair voting. The election commission has appointed Mr. Devashish Chakraborty as special observer for this phase of polls to oversee the entire voting process.
