<span style="color: #222222;">Campaigning came to an end on Sunday evening for the third phase of assembly elections in West Bengal. Most of the leaders focused on public meetings and mass contact programmes in order to make the final appeal to voters criss-crossing the constituencies on the last day.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Polling will be held on 6th of this month in 31 constituencies spread across 3 districts, Hooghly, Howrah and South 24 Parganas. In this phase, 205 candidates including 13 women are in the fray.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Out of 13 female candidates contesting in the third phase, 4 are from the Trinamool Congress while 2 from the BJP, 1 each from the CPIM and Congress while 5 candidates are representing other political parties. Trinamool Congress has fielded two sitting MLAs Namita Saha in Magrahat Purba and Asima Patra, the minister of technical education, in Dhonekhali. In Arambag constituency, the Party Supremo had dropped the sitting MLA and fielded Sujata Mandol, wife of MP Soumitra Khan who had joined the BJP. From Haripal seat, Dr Karabi Manna, wife of sitting MLA Becharam Manna is contesting on TMC's ticket. In Howrah, the BJP has fielded two actresses, Tanusree Chakraborty in Shyampur and veteran actress Papiya Adhikari in Uluberia Dakshin as the party is eyeing to convert their popularity into votes. Congress has fielded Manika Malik Ghosh from Pursura while Jhuma Koyal from the CPIM is contesting from Bishnupur. How many of them can make to the legislative assembly will be decided by the electors on 6th of April.</span><br />''  <br />
