Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen called on President Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. <br/><br/>President Kovind said, India was honoured by the presence of Mr Hun Sen at the Republic Day celebrations and the ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit and thanked him for his support for the successful ASEAN-India Summit.<br/><br/>Mr Kovind said that India and Cambodia share close civilizational and cultural links and their relations have stood the test of time. He said, India is proud of having stood by Cambodia during a difficult period in its post-colonial history. <br/><br/>Mr Kovind said, Cambodia is a key partner for India's Act East policy. He also appreciated Cambodia's remarkable economic development in recent years.<br/><br/>President Kovind thanked the Cambodian Prime Minister for Cambodia's support for India in various UN bodies and international fora.
