Calm prevailed in the Kashmir valley today with no report of any untoward incident. However normal life remained affected as authorities imposed curfew in Sopore town and restrictions under section 144 in Srinagar city and other main towns like Baramula, Kupwara, Pulwama , Anantnag and Kulgam after incidents of stone pelting and clashes between youth and security forces resulted in tension last evening. <br/><br/>One boy drowned in River Jehlimduring such clashes in Baramula. Shops business establishments remained closed and transport too was off the roads following a week long Bandh call by separatists from today.
