CAG should revise its estimated revenue loss in 2G spectrum allocation: Congress

Congress on Saturday says that Comptroller and Auditor General – CAG should revise its estimated revenue loss in the 2G spectrum allocation, if it is in doubt. He said that party is always open to the figures based on research and actuality but does not believe in the notional figures.

Party's statement has come in the wake of reports of differences among the team of auditors who filed the presumptive loss from the 2G allocation. The report suggests that one auditor had put the figures around two thousand six hindred forty five crore rupees while the final report has mentioned the loss of one lakh 76 thousand crores to the exchequer.

On the arrest of IPS Officer Sanjiv Bhatt by the Gujarat government Congress termed as unfortunate. Briefing reporters in New Delhi, party spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi said that dicatorship is quite visible in the state leadership. Singhvi said Narendra modi led state government is harrassing everyone who is opposing it in court of law.
