The Chhattisgarh assembly today witnessed uproarious scenes over the findings of the CAG report for the year 2010-2011 tabled in the assembly yesterday. The main Opposition Congress today demanded a full discussion on the reported loss of revenue to the state government due to faulty procedure and execution of different works, particularly in the field of mining and electricity. The Opposition members were referring to the CAG report that has said that the Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation has incurred an anticipated loss of more than 1052.20 crore rupees due to acceptance of lower rates for commercial mining in the state.
