The licenses of private power distribution companies in Delhi, will be cancelled if they do not cooperate in CAG audit. Addressing the first session of the newly elected Delhi Assembly, Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung today said that a CAG audit of power companies will be carried. He also said, the government will prepare an action plan for regularization of unauthorized colonies in the city within a year. The LG also said that 500 new government schools will be opened and the facilities in the public hospitals will be upgraded at par with the private hospitals.
