CAD falls sharply in March quarter Current Account Deficit, CAD has fallen sharply to 0.2 per cent of GDP in March quarter from 3.6 per cent a year ago. The apex bank said, March quarter Current account deficit plunges to 1.2 billion US dollar from 18.1 billion US dollar a year ago. It , further, said that the current account deficit for the financial year 2014 has narrowed to 1.7 per cent of GDP from 4.7 per cent in financial year 2013.
