The Secretary for Information & Broadcasting Sunil Arora has said that digitization of cable TV network is an important initiative of central government. Addressing a meeting of Media Heads of I&B Ministry in Jodhpur today, Mr. Arora said that the third phase of cable TV digitization will be over by 31st December for which four crore set top boxes are required. <br/><br/>He said that the objective of this programme is to provide quality telecast to the consumers. The I&B Secretary said that a meeting is scheduled in Delhi next month to discuss the issue of improving the quality of AIR and DD programmes in the bordering Jodhpur division.
